It’s the last week before Spring Break. As many students are prepping for some final mid-terms, and aching for the final class before their week off, the Student Activities Board is prepping for one final event as the week winds down.
Student Activities Board Director Mark Scarano said “We are always trying to look into new ideas that can enrich student life and our members thought that a laser tag event would be a great way to do it.” SAB has hosted a few events this year on campus, such as the Mashed Potato Bar, Winter Carnival, and a Hot Chocolate Bar. This event will be off campus at the Zap Zone in Taylor. It gives students a chance to relax and start their break off right after a week of hard work.
“For $10, students get unlimited food, bumper cars, arcade, and laser tag,” said co-chair Hannah Garl. SAB is expecting 48 students on the bus they have rented, but are encouraging more students to show up. Laser Tag is this Thursday, February 23. The plan is for the 48 students to show up at the SAB office (2122 UC) 7:45pm and the bus will arrive at 8:15pm to take the students to Zap Zone. Snacks are provided for the mini-half hour social in the office.
You can RSVP on their Facebook event page clicking here. To purchase a ticket, you can visit the SAB office on the second floor of the University Center before Thursday. Happy Zapping!
