Buildings of Detroit

There are so many kinds of buildings in Detroit, especially Downtown. The city has tons of history, and it’s all around, new buildings mix with old buildings.

There are a few buildings in Downtown, and one outside of Downtown, that I especially love.

One website has plenty of information on some of these buildings. HistoricDetroit.org is run by a good friend, Dan Austin, who loves the city of Detroit and it’s buildings. He even has his second book coming out called Forgotten Landmarks of Detroit.

Some of the wonderful buildings in Detroit, at least in my mind, are older buildings.

The Broderick Tower opened in November, welcoming tenants for the first time in over 30 years.
