Goaltending Situation

  • Craig Anderson (24 GP, 12 W, 9 L, 2 OTL, .941 SV%, 1.69 GAA)

    • Robin Lehner (12 GP, 5 W, 3 L, 4 OTL, .936 SV%, 2.20 GAA)
      • Lehner was the backup, and with some solid numbers, could provide to be the best tandem in the league this year.

Anderson finally found his place in Ottawa after jumping around a bit. Going into his fourth year with Ottawa, and also the possibility of making the U.S. Olympic Roster, the Senators have one of the top goaltenders in the league.

The signing of Alfredsson to the Wings is going to spark a fire under the Senators. It’s going to be a huge rivalry coming into the new season, and you shouldn’t be surprised when they do so well without their leader of 17 years. Adding Bobby Ryan will give them some much needed scoring, and with Anderson in net, they will also contend in the Atlantic Division.
